I’m not getting my e-Pass verification email

Once you’ve listed your correct and complete email address in our system, you should receive an instant email to that address requiring you to click the given link and complete the verification process.

If you haven’t received this email, kindly check your spam / junk folders just in case. If you still can’t find this email, call us ask@e-pass.app or contact us in our in-app chat.

I want to change / update my mobile number and email in the app

Open the app, go to ‘Dashboard’ and update your details there. You will have to complete another round of verification via email and SMS once you update your mobile number and email address.

I can’t remember my e-Pass account password

At the login page, hit ‘Forgot Password?’ and re-enter in the email address that you used to sign up with e-Pass. Click the link in the password recovery email that you’ll receive and reset your password.

I have a problem scanning the QR Code at venues

Open the app, hit the ‘Scan’ button and aim your phone directly at the e-Pass QR Code displayed at the entrance of our partner venues. Make sure to bring your phone close enough so that the entire QR Code appears within the frame on your screen. Make sure that no part of the QR code is cut off. If you still can’t scan successfully, let us know at ask@e-pass.app.

I can’t create my e-Pass for Company account

Follow these steps to submit all the necessary information and correct attachments.

  1. Fill out the e-Pass for Company application form here.
  2. Fill in your business details, and include a scan or clear photo of your SSM (Companies Commission of Malaysia) certificate. Upload your file in either .PDF, .JPG or .PNG formats.
  3. Click submit. If you have trouble submitting your application, contact us at ask@e-pass.app.
  4. Once you’ve successfully submitted your application, you should hear back from us within 24 hours. If you don’t receive any notification after 24 hours, contact us at ask@e-pass.app.

I want to add business branches to my existing e-Pass for Company account

Log in to your e-Pass for Company account at e-pass.app/company, go to ‘Dashboard’ and add in the details of your additional business branch. Once your update is processed and approved in our system, download your unique QR code for the recently-added business branch.

What is e-Pass?

e-PASS.app is the first mobile application custom-designed to track and curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia.

The team behind the e-PASS.app is closely following news on Covid-19 and analysing government policies and strategies daily to enhance the app’s overall framework and algorithm.

Where can I download the e-Pass app?

Download e-Pass on The App Store (coming soon)or Google Playstore.

Is e-Pass free to use?

Yes. e-Pass is a Ministry of Health-approved app that’s free for all users.

How does e-Pass work?

e-Pass displays a user’s status as one of 3 colours: Green, Yellow or Red. ‘Green’ means the user is currently free Covid-19. ‘Yellow’ indicates that the user is at risk of Covid-19 due to close or casual contact a confirmed Covid-19 case. Red means the user has tested positive for Covid-19.

Through the e-PASS app, users can move around in public safely during the CMCO period, receive health alerts from MoH, track and record daily routes and be alerted if they’ve unknowingly been in close contact with another user who’s tested positive for Covid-19.

How will I know if I have a Green, Yellow or Red status on e-Pass?

Your health ‘status’(green, yellow or red) is displayed on your profile picture. If your health status changes, you’ll receive an instant notification explaining what to do when that happens.

Is e-Pass offered in other languages

Yes, e-Pass is available in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Tamil.

How do I submit my e-Pass for Company application?

Visit https://e-pass.app/company/ and fill in the e-Pass for Company application form. Please have a digital copy of your relevant company documents ready to upload as part of your application. This will help us verify your business swiftly.

How do I record customer contact data and other details with e-Pass for Company?

Once your application is approved, you’ll receive an auto-generated unique Station ID QR code for EACH of your business premises. Print out the QR code and display it clearly at the entrance of all your business locations. When customers scan this QR Code and enter your premise, their contact information and health status will be recorded via the app.

How long will it take for my e-Pass application to be approved?

Typically no more than 24 hours, once you have submitted a full and complete application along with the relevant requested documents.

What should I do after downloading my Station ID QR Code?

For efficiency, we recommend printing it out on A3 size paper and displaying it clearly at ALL entrance points to your shop or restaurant. For example, if your store or restaurant covers moret than one level, you will need to place the QR code at multiple entrances.

If you have multiple business branches,you will need to list them down in your e-Pass for Company application form and download a unique Station ID QR codes for each business branch.

How long will it take for my e-Pass application to be approved?
